Career Guidance and Placement cell actively engaged in arranging seminars, workshops and mock interviews to strengthen the employability of our students. It takes care of bringing out placement brochures and sending them to reputed organizations to conduct campus interviews. Placement Cell interacts with the reputed organizations all over the country for arranging campus interviews for the final year students. We make efforts to organize technical seminars, workshops and corporate expectation sessions. Industry personnel are also invited periodically to enrich the knowledge of our student community with the latest technological innovations and industrial practices. We produce graduates who are well equipped to handle the working norms of the industry and commerce in the public and private sectors and helping every student to define his/her career interest through individual counselling through experts. The cell is headed by Dr.S.Rameshkumar, Mrs.P.Chandrakala in the Aided Wing and Mr.S.Vigneswaran in the Self-Finance Wing.
The objectives of this cell are
- To organize campus interviews for final year UG & PG students.
- To imparts training for the overall development of the students like interview techniques, personality development and allied behavioural sciences.
- To arrange project/industrial training/industrial visits for the UG and PG students.
- To encourage students to become entrepreneurs by organising entrepreneurship development programmes.
