Every domain of our institution works with a sense of dynamism and enthusiasm, since we have Prof. V.Sivakumar as our Director. Prof.VS, as fondly being called, symbolizes Vision and Strategy as the wheels of the success story of our institution.

Prof. VS is an able academician with fingertip accounting acumen disappointed a batch of commerce students and delighted the whole lot student community because of his elevation as Principal in 1988, when he was just 36. Prof. VS, is a man daring to go with a strategic vision, has steered turbulent times and converted the institution into coeducational stream. The educational ambiance present in the campus with the unstinting support of all the stakeholders has started producing coveted gold medals and university ranks. Under his stewardship, Erode Vidya Sangam – the charitable trust that runs the institution, has witnessed stupendous growth; it has apart from the aided courses regular wing with 1200+ students, a self-finance wing with 1300+ students. Also it has a vertical integration project – a Matriculation School functioning from 1999 with 1200+ students at present.

By virtue of his ubiquitous qualities such as shared vision, team building, positive attitudes and charming human relations skills, he not only steered the institution well; but also unanimously elected to Bharathiar University’s Syndicate from Principals’ constituency during 2002. After serving as the Principal of our College for 22 years, he was appointed as the Director of Sri Vasavi Institutions in the year 2010.

As per the adage Every busy man will find enough free time, Prof. VS is always busy in the campus with management of four distinct units. He also spends time and act as a guiding spirit for JCI Erode Texcity and Lions Club of Erode Supreme.
