Application of Science and Technology for Rural Areas(ASTRA) is a programme sponsored by Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai. The main objective of the programme is to enhance the economic prospects of rural women so as to empower them.
Our College has undertaken the following projects.
- Mobile Phone Servicing for Rural Youth
- Demonstration and evaluation of coconut tree climbers
- Traditional Herbal Healing Practices for Cattles
- Technological Skills Upgradation for Rural Womewn – Servicing of household electrical appliances (wet grinders, mixies, fans, etc.)
