Corporate Secretaryship
 

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship was started in the year 1995-96 to offer Bachelor of Corporate Secretaryship (BCS) degree programme with a sanctioned strength of 40. From the academic year 2004-05, the name of the programme was changed by the University as B.Com.(CS), that is, Bachelor of Commerce with Corporate Secretaryship. The programme aims at inculcating secretarial skills. It enables the students to face ACS, and ICWA examinations with confidence. Successful graduates are placed as secretaries and cost accountants.

 ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES

To develop communication skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills, guest-lectures are arranged periodically. Career guidance programmes and Personality development programmes are also arranged. The department regularly brings out a bi-annual news-bulletin The Vasavi Executive in association with the Departments of Commerce and Business Management.
