Sri Vasavi College received 315 books related to the subjects like Commerce, Computer Science, Costume Design, English Literature, Mathematics and Electronics as gratis from Vasavi Clubs International. The International President of the Club Vn.Silverstar.KCGF. Atyam Narendu Mohan donated these books worth Rs.75,000 to the library of the Self-finance wing of Sri Vasavi College in a function organised in the College on 16.09.2012. College Managing Committee members Sri.R.V.R.Gokul, Srimathi.Himavathy, Sri.N.Sudhakar, Sri.N.Pandurangan, Director V.Sivakumar and faculty members graced the occasion.
