The Management of our College instituted Merit Prizes to honour the meritorious students of the Self-Finance Wing who have secured 75% and above marks in each of the Semester Examinations conducted by Bharathiar University. UG Students are awarded Rs.500/- as cash prize and PG Students are awarded Rs.750/- as cash prize in each semester and the students who secured 60% and above in UG and joined I PG in our College are Awarded Rs.750/- as cash prize.
This year’s Merit Prize Distribution function was organised on 22.09.2012 Saturday. In this function Dr.S.Sivasubramanian, Vice-Chancellor of Noorul Islam University, Kanyakumari and the former Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore was invited as Chief Guest and he distributed the merit prizes for 121 UG students.
JCI.Sen.P.G.Rajan, CEO of Frontline1 Property Managers, Chennai, Past National President of JCI India particiapted in this function as the Guest of Honour and distributed the merit prizes for 67 PG students.
Rtn.S.Dayanand, the Secretary of the Self-Finance Wing distributed the mementoes to the 11 University Rank Holders and offered felicitations.
Our Principal, Dr.S.Jayasankar, distributed the Merit Prizes for 35 first-year PG students.
